The Francis Neuroscience lab is seeking a full-time Post-Doctoral Fellow to work on projects related to mechanistic functions of therapeutic brain stimulation and aversive learning and response (NIH/NIMH). For more information on the lab, see FrancisNeuro.com.
|Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)||
Ph.D. and/or MD
The position requires a doctoral level degree (Ph.D. and/or M.D.) in Neuroscience, Neurobiology, Molecular/Cellular Biology, Physiology, Pharmacology, Psychology or a closely related field.
The candidate is required to have expertise in neurophysiology or neuroscience, which could have been gained during the normal course of a doctoral degree program, plus competence in rodent handling and strong analytical and statistical skills.
The candidate is required to conduct research lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures, and regulations. The candidate must be able to work independently and in a team.
