Applications are invited for a part-time (0.4FTE) temporary Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Structural Design, in the School of Civil Engineering. This is a 5-year position. The School is seeking applications from candidates with a sustained record of structural design consultancy experience combined with significant undergraduate and graduate-level university teaching experience and high-quality peer-reviewed research in civil/structural engineering. The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching (lectures, tutorials, laboratory practicals, etc.), taught research project supervision, and assessment. They will participate actively in the academic life of the School, and make a commensurate contribution to School administration and university life. The successful candidate will engage actively in the School's research, actively seeking opportunities for research funding, and supervising research students and postdoctoral researchers.

Salary: 95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Above The Bar (7943) €62,233 - €98,548 per annum pro rata

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
