Job Summary

The Adolescent Health Initiative (AHI), a program of Community Health Services (CHS) at Michigan Medicine works to transform the health care landscape to optimize adolescent health and well-being through practice improvement, education, research, and youth and community engagement.  AHI seeks to prepare health professionals to better support adolescents across and within their identities. AHI works to ensure that we promote evidence-based practices and prioritize care for youth across a wide spectrum of identities.  The Training and Outreach Coordinator assists the team in achieving this vision.  

The Training and Outreach Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring that AHI's work is accessible to a national audience.  The work includes being involved in all aspects of training such as planning, developing and maintaining event platforms that are user-friendly and accessible; creating registration systems using event platforms; and implementing and maintaining communication and deliverables with speakers.  The role is responsible for creating and maintaining continuing education applications and certificates for training activities.   The Training and Outreach coordinator acts as a liaison to support AHI's training and outreach activities including addressing emails, phone calls, and other training and outreach inquiries.  This position reports to the Marketing and Events Program Manager.

Work Schedule

This position will work a hybrid schedule with 1-2 days in the office located at 3621 S. State St. Ann Arbor, MI 48108. 

Modes of Work

Background Screening

Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.  Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
